PIERCE ABERNATHY SPECIAL EDITION RIMMED PASTA BOWL
We’re thrilled to team up with Brooklyn-based recipe developer and cookbook author Pierce Abernathy, whose plant-forward cooking is driven by a curiosity for seasonal produce and a talent for turning everyday produce into something you can’t wait to eat.
Fresh off the release of his first cookbook, Every Leaf, Every Stem, Pierce teamed up with our studio to bring the 8.5" Rimmed Pasta Bowl to home cooks for the first time. The bowl has long been a favorite of pro chefs, and this collaboration marks the first time it’s being made available to home cooks.
Pierce was immediately drawn to the bowl’s handmade feel, shallow shape, and generous rim, which make it versatile enough for everything from dips and salads to pasta, grain bowls, and soup.

For the collaboration, Pierce chose our Toasted clay with a Dune glaze to create a neutral, warm canvas that lets the food shine. Each bowl is also custom backstamped with the name of his book.
As with all of our dinnerware, these bowls are both durable and easy to care for (as in, yes, they’re both dishwasher- and microwave-safe).

His work is inspired by his Armenian heritage, a love of seasonal ingredients, and a curious approach to cooking. He recently released his first cookbook, Every Leaf, Every Stem, featuring more than 90 recipes that celebrate vegetables in creative and approachable ways.
