For our April 2026 Special Edition, we teamed up with Justine Doiron of @justine_snacks to reimagine our Coupe Alaska Bowl—aka her go-to “everything bowl,” and the first thing she reaches for in her kitchen every day. It’s a natural fit for pastas, salads, cereals, soups, and even the Stewed Date & Miso Oats from her New York Times bestselling cookbook Justine Cooks.
Justine was immediately drawn to our hand-glazed green bands, so we developed two variations just for her: a single wide band that makes a bold statement, and a double band with a lighter, more playful touch.
The shape does a lot of the work here (that gentle slope = instant “chef-plated” look), and it’s built for real life too—yes, it’s both dishwasher- and microwave-safe.
Bonus: Each order comes with one of Justine's favorite spring recipes curated by her so you can bring a little of her daily kitchen ritual home.
8.5" W x 2.25" H and weighs about 1.5 lbs.
Holds up to 28 fl oz.
On this option, our Toasted clay and white glaze are topped with a hand-painted green band near the inside rim of the piece. Each band is different from the last, you will sometimes see tiny specks of green paint on the white glaze — a result of the band being painted as the piece is spinning on the wheel.
Our products are made of ceramic stoneware, using clays sourced in the northeastern United States. Each piece is designed with a thick build, constructed by hand, and kiln-fired to temperatures over 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure maximum strength and durability.

The Coupe Alaska Bowl will ship within 5 - 10 business days.
At present, we are able to ship retail orders to home cooks within the United States. We also ship internationally to restaurants and hospitality businesses that meet our order minimums. Please contact us at hospitality@jonopandolfi.com if you're interested in learning more about placing a hospitality order for delivery overseas.
When trying to decide if a glaze color or clay body is right for you, we recommend purchasing a smaller item like a Cereal Bowl in the color of choice to see it in person first. Our pottery is often made or glazed to order and very tricky to ship, so we try to provide our customers with as much guidance as we can in advance of ordering to minimize returns. That said, if you're not satisfied with what you receive, we'll issue a refund less a 15% restocking fee. (Restocking fees will be waived for orders under $50.)

Our Story
When Jono started the company in 2004, he had a simple mission: to design unique dinnerware options for the hospitality industry. He started small, with one wheel and one kiln, and collaborated with chefs, taking risks and learning from his mistakes. Then and now, his priority is to work directly with our clients, responding quickly and thoughtfully to their needs in ways that larger manufacturers can’t, resulting in dinnerware with a personal feel that sets our clients’ restaurants and dining rooms apart.
Our Process
Each piece that Jono has designed has its own unique production process, which can entail as many as 15 individual steps, and use methods such as slip casting, jiggering, and good old-fashioned wheel throwing. Our studio is equipped with 10 kilns and 6 wheels and we begin each day with the thrill of opening our Blaauw kiln to discover the finished pieces we loaded in the night before.
